Decorate the room like a professional: 5 elements you can't miss

No, it's not enough to have a bed with matching sheets to decorate a bedroom. There are 5 pieces you have to include in your space. Have you heard about the dressing tables and the poufs?

Decorating the bedroom isn't an easy task. It's the most intimate space in a house. The one you go to for a peaceful night. The decoration of the bedroom is the mirror of your personality. And there is much more to include than a bed and the bedside table. But, well, let's start there.

Beds and headboards

Are you looking for a single or double bed?

Regardless of your choice, in our selection of beds and headboards, you'll find what you need. While the former is more common, the latter is among today's latest trends.

Our beds come in various sizes and shapes. Try to understand if you want a bed with or without legs. Do you want a high headboard? What material do you prefer? Whether in fabric or natural leather, there are care routines you should have.

Forget about bedding for now. Concentrate on the size you're looking for, the cushions you can have, and the area this furniture will occupy. Unless your bedroom is big enough to put the bed in the middle of it, it's advisable to do it against a wall, so you have more space for the other furniture pieces.

In the case of headboards, the latter is a guideline you should follow. As they're very tall and imposing, our headboards should lean against one of the bedroom walls—in case you have, of course, a bed to which you want to give a second life.

Bedside tables

Bedside tables are timeless pieces. There's no better furniture to put a book, a tablet, or even a magazine before bed. They're those pieces that, more than elegant, are useful in all situations.

There are several bedside tables to choose from. You should, however, pay attention to the colors of the bedroom decoration. Only by thinking like this can you decorate your space like a real professional and there are many reasons you should go to an interior designer.

But for now, focus on the predominant colors of your bedroom and your bed's. Choose a bedside table in the same tones. Then, try to realize what the ideal size would be.

Most bedside tables use wood, but there are other shades you may prefer. White and black, for example, are an excellent option. Choose, yet, if you want a table with or without drawers. There are also those with legs and others with none, lower and more compact. In our selection, you can also find some with glass tops.

Dressing tables

Dressing tables aren't unique only, but also useful pieces. They're the perfect furniture for smaller rooms. If you can't, for example, have a high mirror in the bedroom, consider buying a dressing table.

The truth is, besides being able to store some accessories such as make-up, ties, or bracelets you can also put others on the dressing table.

The dressing table top is useful for putting other objects on. You can choose decorative elements, plants, or books. And make sure to never leave the house without looking at yourself in the mirror.

Stools

Our stools are luxurious. They use velvet to distinguish themselves from the decoration. They're an elegant and useful piece in various contexts. The stools offer support for any situation and are great when placed under the dressing tables.

With stronger shades such as black, blue, and dark green, stools are very comfortable and can transform your bedroom's decoration. Because they're so unique, it's rare to see stools in such an intimate space.

The stool usually is a piece used by professionals only. That's why, by including one in your bedroom, you're uniquely decorating your personal space.

Poufs

Poufs are iconic pieces. Often arranged in the living (or dining) room, poufs decorate the space and easily support decorative accessories. But you can (and should) use them to rest your legs after a day's work, as well.

Our poufs have various shades and use different materials. They're mostly velvet, in more or less intense colors. Blue and green prevail, in addition to those in floral fabrics.

It's so rare to see a pouf in a bedroom. That alone is reason enough to include it. This is one of the best ways to use colors in a bedroom. If you like to enter a colorful room, this is the time to do so. Choose an irreverent color pouf that stands out from the rest of the decoration.

Now you know that there is (much) more to the bed and bedside tables to place inside the bedroom.
